Ysgol Bro Dinefwr is seeking an inspirational, proactive and strategically minded Business Manager to lead the school’s key business and operational functions from July 2026. This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a forward‑thinking school committed to bilingualism, innovation, strong governance and the highest standards of service to pupils, staff and the wider community.
As Business Manager, you will:
Lead and manage all support functions, including finance, Human Resources, facilities/property, administration and support services.
Drive efficiency, innovation and excellence in financial and operational management, ensuring robust planning, monitoring and compliance across all systems.
Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team by providing strategic advice, analysis and management information on all aspects of the school’s resources.
Lead and mentor support staff teams, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes high performance and continuous improvement.

Ysgol Bro Dinefwr is seeking an inspiring and visionary Head of Languages, Literacy and Communication to lead a dynamic Welsh department from September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the strategic direction of one of the core areas of the Curriculum for Wales in a forward‑thinking school committed to bilingualism, innovation, and high‑quality teaching.
As Head of Languages, Literacy and Communication, you will:
Lead the strategic provision and operational management of the AoLE, including Welsh (First Language and Second Language).
Drive curriculum development and innovation, ensuring contemporary, high‑quality learning experiences across all key stages.
Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team of teachers, fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Set and promote high expectations for all learners, inspiring them to develop their linguistic and communication skills to the fullest.
We are seeking a leader who combines excellent classroom practice, expertise in languages and literacy, and a deep passion for developing communication as an essential life skill. You will be able to communicate a strong vision, inspire colleagues and make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
