Welsh Heritage Schools Initiative

The Humanities department won the top prize in the Welsh Heritage Schools Initiative competition at Swansea Museum this week. The faculty received a trophy and £800 as a prize. To receive the award Mrs Louise Jones and Mrs Danielle Jones attended with Elena Ashcroft and Eva Dawood from year 7. The special work of the pupils and the faculty was recognized by the Initiative, and specifically the pupils' work on their Cynefin. The pupils succeeded in creating digital and visual presentations, and written pieces on their Cynefin. According to the initiative the project had captured the imagination of the pupils and had clearly raised a desire in them to explore their heritage further.
