Urdd Eisteddfod 2023

As you are all aware, the Urdd Eisteddfod is in Llandovery in May 2023. We are gearing up for this Eisteddfod in school already, and several pupils are taking part in rehearsals for choirs, recitation, written competitions, cooking competitions and art and technology tasks. We would really like to see Ysgol Bro Dinefwr taking a leading role in competitions this year. Young people are able to compete through their schools, but also through ‘Adran’ competitions, and Adran Llyn y Fan provides an ideal opportunity for pupils to take part in the Eisteddfod. Details on how to take part are in the poster below.

Remember that if your child wants to compete in the Eisteddfod, then they need to be members of the Urdd. This needs to be done within the next two weeks as all entries need to be made by the end of the month. Here is the link to register your child with the Urdd: Join the Urdd
