safety information for parents
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The British Transport Police are receiving increasing calls to service due to youth Anti- Social Behaviour and Trespass incidents at Llandeilo and Ffairfach Railway Stations and along the tracks including crossing a busy railway line to camp in an adjacent field.
We understand this may not be your child/children, however the railway environment is an extremely dangerous place and the purpose of this letter is for us to inform you and hopefully prevent a serious incident occurring and to educate to prevent further incidents.
This letter is also to inform you that if your child/children are found to be trespassing or involved in criminal activity on railway property they could be prosecuted and or fined.
We will be attending schools across Llandeilo in September to provide safety presentations, but your support as parents is vital in our work to make your communities a safer place.
If you require any further information regarding this letter, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Yours faithfully,
PCSO Rhys Maslen
