General course information
The Sport Level 3 qualification offers an engaging programme of specialist learning for those interested in the Sport and Leisure Industry. The course covers the key knowledge and practical skills required for the Sport and Leisure sector and provides the necessary vocational learning to progress to Further Education or to work in the industry immediately. The grades are equivelant to A level grades (A/ C/E) and carry exactly the same UCAS points. The Sport qualification assessments are based on portfolios of evidence. The evidence can take many forms which could be PowerPoint presentations, written assignments or witness statements. Grades can be awarded at Pass (equivalent to an E grade), Merit (equivalent to a C grade) or Distinction (equivelant to an A grade)
