 Mynydd Mawr and Dinefwr U15’s

Well done to Owen Phillips on being named the “Coaches Player of the Year” in the Mynydd Mawr and Dinefwr U15’s presentation night. Richard Hardy from the WRU described Owen as the “most committed player they’ve had in the county, he is a role model to the school, an honest player and a player that everyone respects.” High praise indeed for a player that could potentially emulate Iestyn Rees.

 Girls Rugby

The year 8 and 9 girls played against Coedcae last week and played remarkably well. The year 8’s won 45-40 and the Year 9’s lost narrowly 25-30 but pupils worthy of a mention are Phoebe Davis, Ela Morgan, Nia Williams, Bethan Nicholas, Jazmin Jones and Tirion Evans.
